Online Real Estate Continuing Education for California License Renewal

Our 15HOURS package satisfies the entire continuing education requirement for any California salesperson licensed prior to 10/1/2007 and who is renewing for the first time. All other California real estate licensees need 45HOURS of continuing education. (Still not sure? Click here.)

NOTE: If you converted your "conditional license" to a full license by successfully completing two required statutory/pre-license courses within 18-months of your original license date, please understand that this was not a renewal. Your first renewal is always four years after the day you were issued your original license.

Our 15HOURS package is comprised of five, three-hour courses: 1) Ethics, 2) Agency, 3) Trust Funds, 4) Fair Housing, and 5) Risk Management. Again, these courses satisfy the entire California real estate continuing education requirement for salespersons (not brokers) renewing for the first time.

Each course has an online textbook which you may read online, download to your computer, or print (these are eBooks in PDF format which you read with the free Adobe Reader). The length of each book is the minimum number of pages permitted by the DRE (ten pages per course hour). To gain credit for each course, you must pass its final exam. All exams have 25 true/false questions. Passing is 70%. Should you fail, just retake the test until you pass (details). When you retake an exam, the answers from your previous attempt carry forward so you do not have to reenter answers you believe are correct.

After you have passed all your exams, we give you access to a "Certificate." This Certificate displays a "certificate number" for each course and it's corresponding date of completion (the date you pass its exam). DRE's license renewal site (eLicensing) will prompt you for these numbers and dates when you renew your license. We provide you with instructions after you have completed the package.

IMPORTANT: Once we accept your payment, we give you immediate access to your eBooks; however, the DRE does not permit us to allow you to take your online exams (one for each course) until 48 hours after your paid registration. We guarantee the DRE will accept the continuing education credits you earn providing you complete this package within six months after your paid registration.

After you pass your exams, we provide you a "certificate". It lists a DRE-assigned "certificate number" for each of the five courses comprising this package. You will enter these five numbers when prompted by DRE's license renewal site (eLicensing). We will provide you renewal instructions and a link to DRE's renewal site once you have completed all five courses.
