Frequently Asked Questions

Our 15HOURS package satisfies the entire continuing education requirement for California salespersons (not brokers) renewing for the first time.  If you are a salesperson who has renewed at least once before OR a broker, you need 45HOURS of continuing education.  Click for DRE's official explanation of its CE requirements.

NOTE:  If you converted your "conditional license" to a full license by successfully completing two required statutory/pre-license courses within 18-months of your original license date, please understand that this was not a renewal.  Your first renewal is always four years after the day you were issued your original license.

Confused about your continuing education requirement?  Consult our WIZARD.  Our Wizard will look up your Department of Real Estate (DRE) record and tell you what continuing education you need.  Or, if you prefer, give us a call at 818/716-1028.

If you want to know exactly how our online programs work, register for our free Demonstration Course, read the sample textbook, take and pass its final exam, and then print out your sample certificate.

Our 15HOURS package is comprised of five, three-hour courses:  1) Ethics, 2) Agency, 3) Trust Funds, 4) Fair Housing, and 5) Risk Management.  Again, these courses satisfy the entire California real estate continuing education requirement for salespersons (not brokers) renewing for the first time.

Our price is just $42.00 – this includes the five online textbooks (PDF files that you read with the free Adobe Reader).  (To view the first 15 pages of any course's textbook, including its table of contents, click it's name:  Ethics, Agency, Trust Funds, Fair Housing, and Risk Management.)

To gain credit for each course, you must pass its final exam.  All exams have 25 multiple-choice questions except Risk Management which has 25 true/false questions.  Passing is 70%.  Should you fail, just retake the test until you pass (details).

After registering, you must wait two days before you may take any test.  This waiting period is mandated by the DRE.  However, immediately after registering, you may read/download your course textbooks and take a 10-question practice exam of trivia questions to experience the look-and-feel of our testing program.
